Questions
HazerFazer: common questions
HazerFazer (Hazer Fazer, or حزر فزر in Arabic) is an Arabic trivia game made in Jordan: a Jeopardy-style team quiz and party game for two teams of family or friends, played together on one screen — a smart TV, a laptop or a tablet. It is a browser game at hazerfazer.com, with nothing to download.
- What is the HazerFazer game?
- HazerFazer is an Arabic quiz game for two teams on one screen: Arabic trivia with the whole room playing. Every Hazer Fazer game is a board of six categories and 36 questions, picked from more than 250 categories and played on a TV, a laptop or a tablet.
- Is the game in English?
- Yes — you can play Hazer Fazer in English or Arabic. The screens and the questions come in both, so everyone in the room can follow along.
- What do we need to start?
- One screen and a web browser — a TV, a computer or a tablet, in landscape. Nothing to download and no app; everyone plays around the screen.
- How many players do we need?
- Two teams, any number of players on each. One account runs the whole evening — nobody else needs one.
- Do we need phones?
- No, except for the charades questions: the actor scans a code on the screen to read, on their phone alone, what to act out.
- Is it like Jeopardy in Arabic?
- It has nothing to do with Jeopardy! itself, but it plays like a Jeopardy Arabic version for the living room: six categories, 36 questions worth 200, 400 or 600 points, two teams taking turns. It is an Arabic Jeopardy game you play online in the browser, with mini-games and power-up cards between the questions.
- Can we try it before we buy?
- Yes. Your first game is free with every new account, from the trial set: fixed questions, enough for one game from any category, and the same for every new account. Your first purchase moves every game to the full library of 35,000+ questions, including the free game if you have not played it yet.
- Do questions repeat if we pick categories we have played before?
- No. Every game is dealt from questions you haven't played, so the same question never comes back however often you pick the category — except in the free game, which comes from the fixed trial set every new account shares.
- We stopped halfway through — can we finish later?
- Yes. The game is saved with its scores and tiles; you will find it on Home and can finish it whenever you like, without using another credit.
- Is there an English version of Seen Jeem?
- Not one that we know of. If you are looking for Seen Jeem in English, HazerFazer is the closest game: the same six-category board for two teams, and you can play it in English or Arabic. Among games like Seen Jeem in English, it is built for one shared screen, with no phones needed. As a Seen Jeem alternative, the first game is free and every game after costs a fraction of what a Seen Jeem game costs, so it is easy to try next to other Seen Jeem similar games.
- Is it an Arabic party game for friends and family?
- Yes. It is one of the Arabic party games made for a room full of people: Arabic games to play with friends on a Thursday night, Arabic family games for a gathering at home, and Arabic games for adults who like a hard quiz. Most Arabic trivia games and group games in Arabic need paper and a host; here the screen keeps score. They are also Arabic games to play online, in the browser with no app, though everyone plays together around one screen.
- Does it work for Eid and Ramadan?
- Yes. It is one of the easiest Eid games for family gatherings: one screen, two teams, and categories for every age, from religion and history to football and cartoons. Looking for Eid games for adults or Eid party games for adults? Pick the harder categories, or the auction and charades ones, which get the room loudest. As an Eid trivia game, or a Ramadan trivia game after iftar, it has whole categories on the Quran, the stories of the prophets and Islamic history. And for Ramadan games for adults, it is one of the few Ramadan games online that need nothing but a browser.
- How do you spell HazerFazer?
- HazerFazer, as one word; some write it Hazer Fazer. In Arabic it is حزر فزر. Either way it is the trivia game at hazerfazer.com — not the hazers and fazers that make haze on a stage.
- Do I need to download an app?
- No. HazerFazer runs in the browser at hazerfazer.com — on a smart TV’s browser, a laptop, or a tablet in landscape — with nothing to install.
- How much does HazerFazer cost?
- Your first game is free with every new account. After that you buy credits: 3 games for $3.50, 5 games for $4.99, 10 games for $7.50, so from $0.75 a game, and credits never expire. Or subscribe to HazerFazer Plus: $14.99 a month at the founders' price (instead of $24.99), for the full library every game night, with a fair-use limit of 15 games a night and 80 a month. It renews monthly, and you can cancel or pause it at any time.
- Is there a monthly subscription?
- Yes, since October 2026. HazerFazer Plus is a monthly subscription for $14.99 a month at the founders' price (instead of $24.99), and you keep that price while you stay subscribed. It opens the full library every game night, with a fair-use limit of 15 games a night and 80 a month; past it, games are paid from your credits if you have any. It renews every month, and you cancel or pause it at any time from the credits page. It costs less than the packs from about 20 games a month; groups who play less are better off with credits.
- How many categories and questions are there?
- More than 250 categories and 35,000 questions, from football, anime, films and songs to religion, history and geography, and from Jordan and Egypt to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf.
- Can we play HazerFazer on the TV with two teams?
- Yes. Open hazerfazer.com in your smart TV’s browser, or connect a laptop to the TV, and split the room into two teams: the board, the questions and the score are all on the big screen, and one account covers the game night.
- Is HazerFazer like Kahoot?
- Both are quiz games, but in Kahoot each player answers on their own phone. HazerFazer is a ready-made trivia board for two teams who talk it over in front of one screen, with no phones except for charades, and questions from more than 250 categories.
